Privacy Policy

Basket Caravan will not release any information you provide to us, except as described in this statement.

Our order form asks you only for the information needed to fill your order, and to provide  information to you regarding your order status. The recipients address information will be transmitted to our shippers for the purpose of shipping your order. 

We never sell, rent or share your personal information to any third parties under any circumstance! Your confidentiality is GUARANTEED!

E-mail Address

We may use the e-mail address provided to contact you regarding special announcements or offers from us. You may opt-out of receiving future mailings at any time. Please contact us at basketcaravan@sbcglobal.net and type "mailing opt-out" in the subject line.

Guarantee

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you or your recipient are not completely satisfied with the quality of our products, or it is damaged prior to receipt, it will be replaced.  In certain cases we offer a full refund or credit. Our customer service department must be contacted within 7 days of receipt of package to begin the return process. (see "Returns")

Deliveries to Large Businesses/Hospitals/Hotels:

All of our items are non-perishable. A few days delay will not affect the products. If you are sending a package to one of the abovementioned locations, and the exact timing of delivery is important to you, you should notify the recipient that they will be receiving the package. For delivery to hospitals or hotels, you should be absolutely certain the the recipient will be at the location when your gift arrives. We cannot be responsible for gifts becoming lost within a hospital or hotel system if the package arrives after the guest has been dismissed or checked out.

Returns

Please contact our customer service department to obtain a "return mailing address" for damaged items. Damaged items must be returned in their original packaging. If you would like to request a credit or replacement, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt of package. A return number with be provided to you. No items may be returned without a return number provided by our Customer Service Department.

Address Corrections

Address corrections may be provided at any time until the product has been shipped. Please contact us by phone at (800) 370-8558 if you have an address correction.

Our Substitution Policy

 We are always on the lookout for new and unique items. As these products become available we may add and/or substitute items.  Seasonal and product availability may also affect our inventory. If we  make a substitution we always choose items of equal or greater value. If this is of concern to you, please indicate so on the comments line of the order form and we will notify you of any change before we ship your order.

Our basket team does their best to recreate our designs. Some minor variation may occur due to individuals creative interpretation.

Changing a delivery address or a delivery date

We will be glad to change an address or delivery date as long as the order has not left our shipping department. Please phone us at (800) 370-8558 to notify us of the change.  If an incorrect address is provided, we must charge a redelivery fee.

Canceling an order

If your package has not left our shipping department it may be cancelled. Contact us immediately at (800) 370-8558. Cancellations must be made by telephone.

Credit Cards

For your convenience Basket Caravan accepts American Express, MasterCard and Visa.  When you place your order, you will be provided with the price of the product and the shipping charges. 

Insurance

Fed Ex insures packages of up to $100.00 at no extra charge.  

Shipping time and policy

Orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt. Large orders may require additional lead time. Lead time may vary around the busy November/December holiday season

Our preferred method of shipment is Fed Ex Ground for orders within the Continental United States.  Shipping time is 1-7 business days, based on distance. Shipping prices are based on weight and distance.   Requests for other shipping methods (Overnite, 2nd day, 3rd day) will be quoted separately. If you request a special shipping method, we will contact you upon receipt of your order with a shipping rate quotation. International shipments are shipped by the U.S. Postal Service, via Air Parcel Post. Again, we will contact you with a shipping rate quotation.  If an incorrect address is provided, we must charge of redelivery fee.

Multiple Shipping Address Orders

Ordering by phone is the most secure way to transmit your credit card.  If you prefer to fax your order, click our "order form" link,  print out the form and fax it to us (1-209-476-8610). Or you may send an e-mail with your additional addresses and gift enclosure greetings to (basketcaravan@sbcglobal.net) .
